KINDLEWILD WELLNESS

Client Services Agreement & Informed Consent

Welcome to Kindlewild Wellness. This agreement explains the nature and scope of services offered, client and practitioner responsibilities, scheduling and payment policies, confidentiality, and important limitations of services.

Please review this agreement carefully before beginning services.

1. Nature of Services

Kindlewild Wellness provides non-medical wellness, educational, and coaching services that may include:

  • Trauma-Informed Coaching

  • Reclaim Sessions

  • Reiki and Sound Healing

  • Chronic Illness Navigation & Support

  • Grounding and reflective practices

  • Educational resources and workbooks

  • Individual packages combining these services

Services are intended to support self-reflection, self-trust, personal growth, stress management, grounding, identity exploration, boundaries, wellness, and navigating life transitions.

Services are individualized according to the client’s goals and may include conversation, reflection exercises, educational information, grounding practices, goal setting, and other non-clinical wellness tools.

2. Trauma-Informed Coaching

Trauma-informed coaching recognizes that past and present experiences may influence a person’s patterns, beliefs, relationships, boundaries, sense of safety, and connection with themselves.

Coaching may explore these patterns as they relate to the client’s present life and future goals.

Trauma-informed coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental-health treatment.

Kindlewild Wellness does not diagnose or treat mental-health conditions or provide clinical trauma treatment.

The client understands that discussing difficult experiences may sometimes bring up uncomfortable thoughts or emotions. The client is always free to pause, decline a topic or exercise, or end a session.

3. Chronic Illness Navigation & Support

Chronic Illness Navigation & Support is an educational, organizational, advocacy-support, and lived-experience service.

Sessions may include assistance with organizing medical information, preparing questions for healthcare appointments, identifying concerns the client wishes to discuss with their healthcare providers, navigating healthcare logistics, developing self-advocacy strategies, or discussing the personal impact of living with chronic illness.

Although Lindsay is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Kindlewild Wellness does not provide nursing or medical care through this service.

Kindlewild Wellness does not diagnose medical conditions, interpret laboratory or diagnostic testing as a healthcare provider, prescribe or recommend medications or medical treatments, alter treatment plans, or replace care from the client’s licensed healthcare professionals.

All medical decisions should be discussed with the client’s treating healthcare provider.

4. Reiki & Sound Healing

Reiki and sound healing are complementary wellness practices intended to promote relaxation, mindfulness, grounding, and personal well-being.

Individual experiences and responses vary, and no specific physical, emotional, or medical outcome is promised or guaranteed.

Reiki and sound healing are not medical or mental-health treatment and should not be used as substitutes for appropriate professional care.

The client may stop or modify a session at any time.

5. Professional Scope

Lindsay provides Kindlewild services within the scope described in this agreement.

Services offered through Kindlewild Wellness do not establish a nurse-patient, therapist-client, physician-patient, or other clinical treatment relationship.

Kindlewild services are not intended to replace medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric care, crisis services, or other licensed professional treatment when appropriate.

If a client’s needs fall outside the scope of Kindlewild services, the client may be encouraged to seek an appropriately licensed professional.

6. Client Responsibility

The client remains responsible for their own choices, actions, healthcare decisions, and personal well-being.

Participation in any exercise, discussion, Reiki practice, sound practice, or other activity is voluntary.

Clients are encouraged to communicate openly about their comfort level and may decline or discontinue any activity at any time.

No particular result from coaching or wellness services can be guaranteed.

7. Confidentiality & Privacy

Information shared during sessions will be treated with respect and kept private to the extent reasonably possible.

However, Kindlewild Wellness is not a psychotherapy or medical practice, and clients should not assume that communications are protected by the same legal privileges or privacy requirements that may apply to healthcare or mental-health treatment.

Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law or court order or when otherwise legally necessary.

Client testimonials, stories, photographs, or identifying information will not be used for marketing without separate permission.

8. Scheduling, Cancellation & Rescheduling

Appointments are reserved specifically for each client.

Please provide at least 72 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice may be subject to forfeiture of the session or applicable cancellation fees, except when otherwise agreed due to emergency or extraordinary circumstances.

Late arrival does not necessarily extend the scheduled session time.

9. Payment

Payment is due according to the terms provided when the service is booked.

For individual services, payment is due according to the booking/payment instructions provided by Kindlewild Wellness.

For packages, the full package balance must be paid before the first session unless a written payment arrangement has been agreed upon in advance.

Any required deposit is 50% and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

Package pricing reflects the bundled services and resources included in the package.

10. Package Participation

Packages are intended to provide continuity of support over multiple sessions.

Clients are responsible for scheduling and attending included appointments within any timeframe communicated at purchase.

Unused sessions are not transferable to another individual.

Termination of a package does not automatically entitle the client to a refund for services already rendered, reserved appointment time, completed resources, or non-refundable amounts. Any refund that may be required will be handled according to applicable law and the specific circumstances.

11. Communication Between Sessions

Communication outside scheduled sessions is intended primarily for scheduling, administrative matters, and other communication specifically included in the client’s service or package.

Email, text, social media messaging, and other electronic communication should not be used for emergencies or crisis support.

Response times may vary, and immediate responses cannot be guaranteed.

12. Emergency & Crisis Situations

Kindlewild Wellness is not a crisis or emergency service.

If a client is experiencing a medical emergency, mental-health crisis, or believes they or another person may be in immediate danger, they should contact 911, 988, or an appropriate local emergency/crisis service rather than waiting for a response from Kindlewild Wellness.
